Brad's Self-Reflection | Part 1
Lately, I’ve been doing some self-reflection on things (highly motivated by the birth of our baby girl, I’m sure) with life, work, family, the whole gambit. During this self-reflection, I’ve come to the conclusion that there a few things that I need to change in my life to be more productive, more streamlined, and more available to enjoy the things I love. I’ll be posting...

We have a winner.
After my initial dilemma, it’s official, I bought a the 8125 last weekend. I got to play with the Moto Q in a Best Buy and just didn’t like it all that much. There is, indeed, no touch screen and the thumb scroll doesn’t work well for me. Hell, I couldn’t even figure out how to click the Start button. That and the buttons were pretty small for these claws of mine. ...

XHTML, CSS, & Ruby/Rails Update
So after my last rant of being overwhelmed about where I should start learning, I decided to just go and do. And as things come up, learn. So here’s an update of where I am: XHTML I was already pretty good at HTML coding but didn’t understand the differences between XHTML and regular HTML. That is, until I started validating in XHTML Transitional and Strict. The differences are...

It's official | I'm in 9rules.
I haven’t mentioned anything on my blog about my blog being selected by 9rules to join their premiere network of blogs. I wanted to make sure I agreed with their member policy before making any annoucements. There were 700 submissions to get in and they picked 111 to join them. Three to four weeks ago I submitted my sites (this one and fatboydiaries.com) in hopes to get in and frankly, I...

Sport Greatness Begins
Tomorrow marks the beginning of one of the greatest months of sports that I’ve had in a while. I fear losing my job, wife, and the arrival of my first child due to the greatness that is coming over the next month. For those that don’t know, I’m from Dallas, and yes, I have been a Cowboys fan for years (I’m not even going to get into T.O. right now, maybe closer to training...

RightCart.com Test Drive
At work, we are trying to figure out an effective way to easily manage the credit card payment processing for our web project. We are currently “trying” to use Paypal but they require the paying customer to have an account and it seems to be a pain to a lot of people. So I’ve been looking around for awhile at the different e-commerce web app’s to see if they, by some...

Motorola Q vs. Cingular 8125 | The Battle
VS. Alright, first things first, I’m a Cingular user. Can’t switch, won’t switch, too many friends and family on Cingular with me to switch and not capitalize on free mobile-to-mobile and start running up my minutes. Now, with that said, I’ve been waiting on the Motorola Q since they were calling it the ‘Razrberry’ and have been keeping up with...
