I’m trying to decide, sitting here @ 8:11pm if I should head to the SXSW festival tonight OR wait until first thing in the morning (5:30am?!?!). I originally thought tonight b/c I’m not known to be a morning person but with all the shiznit I still have to do I think I’ve decided to get up at butt-crack AM and make the trek to the geek promise land. I don’t think I’ve ever been so stoked to go to a festival/conference as I am with this one. I guess it’s hard to find as many like-minded people all in the same location and talking about the stuff that I usually stay up late reading about through my RSS feeds. I’m used to these stuffy bank conferences where everyone tries too hard to be professional. It should be just a real relaxed, fun, creative vibe and hopefully I’ll be able to make all the session I want.
