So we’ve gotten a chance to both play w/ our new Mac Mini and so far it seems to be pretty good. It’s weird for me to be in front of a machine and feel out of my element. Took me a bit to figure out how to manuever and where things are, which I’m still figuring out.

Some questions have already come up such as:

- OK, so are Mac’s supposed to somewhat delayed response systems? For example, the scroll on a webpage seems delayed with my mouse. Does using a Dell keyboard/mouse on it affect that? The combo works fine on the Windows machine.
- DMG files…ok, there are essentially like downloading an .exe file right? You open then but then what, how do you install it for good and not just some prog you constantly eject?

- Audio. The audio on the system seems a bit too quiet, even with everything cranked up, am I missing something here?

Any help out there would be GREATLY appreciated, off to bed, got a 7am appt…ugh!

UPDATE: After playing w/ this weekend, Jenny and I both noticed how sluggish it was so we decided to return it today. Talked to the Apple rep and he thinks it might’ve been a lemon b/c we played w/ the one’s at the store and it was DEFINITELY faster than the one we had. So we decided to think on it a bit and just get our money back.
