Parallels and Bootcamp | Two Peas in a Pod?
So I’ve been rocking with Parallels for Mac for a while now and it has, for the most part, been a positive experience. I still don’t quite understand why it gets so slow at times or why when you increase the RAM for the virtual machine that it actually slows down but, it’s been good.
So with this new beta that has recently come out I was excited to see that you could use your boot camp partition in a virtual machine through Parallels. So I hooked it up and so far…it stinks.
I followed the instructions to the letter but there are multiple options in booting now, multiple hardware profiles in XP, it’s a mess. They say it is supposed to ask you to ‘reactivate Windows’ only once but it is asking me every time now! And what’s better? It’s not saying my key has been used too often and I need another key! ERGH!
Any help out there would be great!
