If you haven’t read Daniel Pink’s book ‘Drive’ and want the Cliff Notes version, this video will do it.  It’s a great read but I think he’s done a great job of defining the new kind of company. All people need three things:

1) Autonomy - the ability to make their own decisions

2) Mastery - the ability to accomplish something

3) Purpose - the drive to work towards something than just money
